Persuasive argument but missed the point (Technology)

Dear Searchengine:

You made persuasive arguments but missed the point of Chinese government orchestrated censorship of free speech on the internet. Though the Chinese internet market is growing by leaps and bounds, its eCommerce or commercial viability is very small (@ roughly US$200M/annually or about 5% of the US eCommerce market or 15% of that in Japanese). Motivated by the hope of achieving an economic return in China in the distant future, American and Western internet companies (i.e.: Yahoo, MSN, ebay, Google) collaborate with a tyrannical regime (CCPC) to suppress free speech and indirectly help to perpetuate corruption and widespread abuse of powers across China. This is nothing new.

Research back to China at the turn of the 20th Century, American and other Western companies were colluding with corrupt officials in the Nationalist Camp to further their commercial interests. Often, as in the case of the Opium trade, human smuggling and prostitution, Chinese were the victims of such collusion. Though many unscruplous Chinese and Western businessmen made enormous gains from such practices, most Chinese suffer by exploitative and corrupt officials and their crony business associates. Such were the conditions which lead to the ensuing revolutionary periods. Again, we are retracing the same path in history.

Once again, multinational companies are colluding with corrupt officials in the CCPC to further their own selvish gains at the expense of Chinese citizens. Collaborating with tyrants to suppress the truth and the free will of people contravenes the rule of universal justice. We need to encourage those brave men and women who are sacrificing their lives to transform China into a democratic and lawful society where the rights and dignity of the poorest or weakest are protected and respected. Let me remind those who support tyranny and suppression of truth. Free will comes from Grace, no man or nation has the right to curtail what God has so generously endowed to His beloved mankind.

Again, you made a persuasive argument for economic gains over universal justice and freedom but missed the point entirely.
